지난 방송에서 ‘취준생’(취업준비생) 박인성은 인생 역전의 찬스를 잡았다. 스마트폰에 갇힌 김선주(박성웅 분) 사장을 대신해 ‘실버라이닝’ 사장이 된 것. 갑작스럽게 등판한 신임 사장에게 쏟아진 곱지 않은 시선 속에 첫 출근을 시작한 박인성. 누구도 믿을 수 없는 곳에서 김선주가 행방불명된 ‘그날’의 진실을 밝히기 위한 추적이 시작됐다. 무엇보다 박인성에게 날아온 의문의 메시지는 미스터리를 증폭시켰다.
또 비서 정세연 존재는 여전히 변수다. 김선주와 실버라이닝에 대해서 누구보다 잘 알기에 치명적인 ‘적’이 될 수도, 든든한 아군이 될 수 있기 때문. 박인성과 정세연의 관계 구도에 궁금증을 자아낸다.
이런 가운데 제작진이 공개한 사진 속 두 사람의 달라진 분위기가 변화를 예고한다. 자신에게 굴욕을 안겼던 ‘백설공주’ 인형 탈을 다시 꺼내 든 박인성과 개구리탈을 쓰고 힘겨워하는 정세연의 반전이 웃음을 유발한다. 스마트폰에 갇혀 딸에게 갈 수 없는 김선주 사장을 대신해 딸 민아(기소유 분)의 놀이 친구가 되어준 두 사람. 의외의 호흡으로 민아의 얼굴 한가득 미소를 불러온 두 사람 활약이 주목된다.
‘환장의 팀플레이’는 회사에서도 계속된다. 선글라스까지 깔맞춤하고 오피스 런웨이를 펼치고 있는 박인성과 정세연의 ‘위풍당당’ 아우라가 시선을 강탈한다. 속내를 좀처럼 드러내지 않는 정세연이 아군일지, 적군일지는 아직 미지수다. 김선주가 위기에 처했다는 것도, 공조 사실도 들켜서는 안 되는 상황. 여기에 정세연이 심 집사(최진호 분)를 만나는 모습이 그려졌던바, 이들에게 찾아온 변화에 호기심을 자극한다.
제작진은 “박인성을 미심쩍게 여기는 정세연의 레이더망이 좁혀진다. 박인성과 정세연의 관계가 어떻게 변모할지 지켜봐 달라”고 전했다.
