주 1회 방송되는 SBS 금요극 '펜트하우스' 시즌3가 추가로 2회 연장해 종영한다. 드라마 관계자들에 따르면 '펜트하우스3'는 당초 12회로 기획됐으나 최근 14회까지 연장을 결정, 2회를 더 보게 된다. 앞서 시즌1과 시즌2도 각각 1회씩 연장했고 이번에도 마찬가지 결정을 내렸다.
'펜트하우스3'는 기존 주 2회가 아닌 1회 편성으로 한 회당 러닝타임이 80분여다. 연장까지 포함해 결국 65분 분량의 미니시리즈 16회와 똑같아졌다. 출연 배우들에게 연장에 대한 얘기를 전달했다. 또한 시즌3는 촬영 전 출연료 협상에서 기존과 달리 한 회지만 그 회차당 분량이 늘었기에 인상 조정됐다.
시즌3는 1회 19.5%를 시작으로 현재 시청률은 16~17%대를 유지하고 있다. 유진(오윤희)는 죽었고 다른 배우들간 얽히고 설킨 실타래가 풀릴 기미가 보이지 않아 어떻게 결말을 맺을지도 기대된다.
