7일 방송된 SBS 월화드라마 ‘펜트하우스’에서는 민설아(조수민 분)를 살해한 범인으로 천서진(김소연 분)을 의심하는 심수련(이지아 분)의 모습이 그려졌다.

구호동(박은석 분)은 심수련에게 “민설아가 당신 딸이라는 사실을 가족에게 밝혀”라며 경고했다. 그는 생전 민설아가 ‘엄마도 나처럼 불행했으면 좋겠다’는 녹음된 파일을 재생했다. 구호동은 “이제 알겠냐, 설아가 친모를 얼마나 증오했는지”라고 말했다. 이에 심수련은 “설아가 엄마를 찾고 있었어?”라며 마음 아파했다. 구호동은 열흘 안에 가족에게 정체를 밝히려고 말미를 줬다. 구호동은 민설아가 미국 입양됐던 당시 골수를 이식받은 양오빠였다. 그는 동생의 복수를 다짐하며 청아예고에 위장 잠임했던 것이다.

주단태(엄기준 분)는 구호동과 내기 야구를 쳤다. 그러나 구호동은 주석훈(김영대 분)의 학교 폭력을 공개할 것을 소원으로 말하며 주단태를 도발했다.

하은별(최예빈 분)은 배로나(김현수 분)에 관해 유독 신경질적인 태도를 보였다. 천서진은 딸 하은별을 몰아세우면서도 홍보 모델 오디션 원고를 몰래 내밀었다. 이는 천서진이 오디션 심사 위원에게 뇌물을 제공하고 얻어낸 것이다.

청아예고 홍보 모델 스피치 오디션은 영어로 진행됐다. 미리 받은 정보로 준비된 하은별과 달리 다른 지원생들은 당황했다. 두 번째로 무대에 오른 배로나는 “나는 못하겠다. 이런 부정 오디션은 못 보겠다. 원고가 사전에 유출됐다”며 “누군가 이 원고로 연습하는 걸 봤다”라고 폭로했다.

특히 배로나는 오디션 원고를 바꿔달라고 요청했다. 심수련이 학교 홈페이지에 오디션 원고 파일을 올린 탓에 바꿀 수밖에 없었다. 계획대로 안 되자 무대에서 당황한 하은별은 제대로 말하지도 못하고 무대에서 내려왔다. 결국 청아예고 홍보 모델은 주석경(한지현 분)과 주석훈이 차지했다.

민설아를 괴롭힌 청아예고 학생들은 정체불명의 메시지를 받고 괴로워했다. 메시지에는 민설아가 생전 괴롭힘 당했던 음성도 전송됐다. 민설아에 관해 유독 심한 반응을 보인 하은별은 “민설아가 떨어져 죽은 곳은 보송 마을이 아니라 헤라팰리스”라고 밝혔다.

협박 메시지를 보낸 이는 구호동이었다. 민설아가 괴롭힘 당할 당시 전화로 모든 사실을 들은 것이다. 구호동은 민설아에게 “오빠가 가서 꼭 혼내줄게”라고 약속했다. 이 때문에 구호동은 “너네는 앞으로 지옥을 볼 거야. 기대해”라고 복수를 다짐했다.

구호동은 주단태 집안의 가사도우미 김로사(양미옥 분)에게 모든 정보를 캐냈다. 헤라팰리스의 자녀들도 민설아가 살해당한 사실을 알아차렸다. 구호동은 헤라팰리스의 자녀들을 압박했다.

심수련은 4개월 전 민설아의 DNA가 남아 있는 증거 천서진의 ‘루비 반지’를 금고에서 꺼냈다. 심수련은 모든 사실을 밝히기 위해 오윤희를 이용했다. 주단태에게 속아 전 재산 10억을 잃은 오윤희를 로건 리의 비서로 일하게 한 것이다.

심수련은 ‘루비 반지’를 천서진에게 보내 민설아 살해범인 것을 확인했다. 심수련은 “역시 너 였어, 내 딸을 죽인 범인”이라고 말했다.

‘펜트하우스’는 100층 펜트하우스의 범접불가 ‘퀸’ VS 모든 것을 집어삼키는 욕망의 ‘프리마돈나’ VS 상류사회 입성을 향해 질주하는 ‘여자’가 채워질 수 없는 일그러진 욕망으로 집값 1번지, 교육 1번지에서 벌이는 부동산과 교육 전쟁을 담은 드라마다. 매주 월, 화요일 오후 10시 방송된다.
