The six-member rookie group, IVE, delivered a New Year’s greeting on the occasion of the Lunar New Year holiday.
IVE (Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo) released a photo of a New Year’s greeting for the Lunar New Year 2022, wearing a fine hanbok in six pastel colors through Starship Entertainment official social media on January 30.
Particularly, IVE said, “We spent a dreamlike 2021, and the new year 2022, the beginning of the new year, is approaching. The difficult times continue due to the COVID-19 outbreak. But, we wish you could spend as warm and happy as the New Year holidays.”
“Thanks to Dive (fan club name), we were able to reach 11 music broadcasts. We are already full of excitement about how IVE’s year will unfold. We hope everyone’s 2022 will sparkle as much as the excitement we feel. Also, we hope you will enjoy a lot of delicious food and have a rich holiday.”
After debuting on December 1 last year, IVE has performed remarkable activities with the single ‘ELEVEN,’ showing an unrivaled presence. It topped various global charts, including Billboard, Spotify, iTunes, YouTube Music, Billboard Japan, and Chinese QQ Music. IVE has achieved remarkable results by revealing the strength of ‘Monster Rookie’ from the top of the charts of major music sources in Korea that prove the public’s love.
Notably, IVE has won on 11 music shows, taking home first place trophies. Also, even after the end of the official activities, they continue the brilliant steps of ‘Record Breaker’ as a constant career high, making fans look forward to IVE’s future.
