방탄소년단 직속 후배 그룹 코르티스(CORTIS)가 K-팝에 새바람을 불어넣으며 데뷔 활동을 성공적으로 마쳤다.
코르티스(마틴, 제임스, 주훈, 성현, 건호)는 9월 28일 SBS ‘인기가요’를 끝으로 데뷔 앨범 ‘COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES’ 활동을 마무리했다. 이날 방송에서는 주훈과 건호가 스페셜 MC로 나서 특별한 의미를 더했다.
8월 18일 데뷔한 이들은 6주 동안 음악방송에 출연해 타이틀곡 ‘What You Want’, 인트로곡 ‘GO!’, 후속곡 ‘FaSHioN’ 총 3곡을 선보였고 탄탄한 가창력과 압도적인 퍼포먼스, 한계 없는 콘셉트 소화력으로 큰 사랑을 받았다.
다섯 멤버는 소속사 빅히트 뮤직을 통해 “모든 것이 처음이었고 매순간이 감동이었다. 긴장도 많이 했지만 팬분들께서 주신 사랑 덕분에 조금씩 발전할 수 있었다. 활동이 종료된 후에도 꾸준히 소통하고 만날 수 있도록 노력하겠다”라는 진심어린 소감을 밝혔다
